WGN Program Director Kevin Metheney (photo), who has come under an intense amount of criticism from every conceivable direction (including from my basement on one or two occasions), is no longer with the station. This is the guy that fired Kathy & Judy, Steve Cochran and Sports Central, and hired Garry Meier, Mike McConnell, and Jim Laski.

Laski is gone too, which is also surprising because according to everything I read, he signed a three year deal. Maybe that report was inaccurate, because I don't see WGN eating that much money.
