FCC Chairman could leave

It looks like we'll be getting another new F.C.C Chairman. Julius Genachowski is being considered for a new post, potentially as Commerce Secretary.

I think he's done a pretty good job as chairman. He's de-emphasized the nanny content police that dominated the F.C.C in previous years (think Janet Jackson), and he's attempted to stop the telecommunications giants from gouging the consumers (he supports net neutrality), and he did ask for some concessions in the latest consolidation (NBC and Comcast), though not enough if you ask me.

His reign wasn't perfect, but under the circumstances, he did as well as can be expected.
