Born 121 years ago today: Footsie Blair. He played his entire major league career with the Cubs (only three seasons 1929-1931). His teammates dubbed him Footsie because he pioneered the “intentional boot” play, where he kicked grounders to proper base. #everyCubever pic.twitter.com/QIY2ufF4oq
