Seventy five years ago this week, the Cubs are preparing for yet another NL Pennant winning season. They're nowhere near the headlines in the newspapers though, because this is the week that Bruno Hauptmann is convicted and sentenced to death for the kidnap/murder of the Lindbergh baby.
