Remember former Cubs pitcher Mike Remlinger? He was the guy with the prematurely gray goatee that pitched for the Cubs during the heyday of the Dusty-era (2003-2005).
On the day that Sammy Sosa was busted with a corked bat, the handle of the bat was thrown into the dugout. Remlinger found it there, and kept it.
Now he's auctioning it off.
My favorite part of the article is the part where Remlinger called Sammy's personal assistant to ask if he wanted it back. I've dealt with Sammy's personal assistant myself, and I just thought it was funny that even his ex-teammates have to deal with him that way.
