If you scroll down the blog a bit you'll see that this day in 1979 was a memorable day at Wrigley Field.
I was just curious to see what song was #1 on that day, and whoa, it brought back memories. I had my first slow dance to this song with a fellow 15-year-old named Doreen at the "Teen Club" in Heidelberg. I remember it very well. It was a long song, and there was a lot of sweating...mainly by me...even though she's the one that asked me to dance.
Doreen, by the way, is married and lives in the D.C. area. We reconnected via facebook about three years ago, and she was kind enough not to mock me about the sweating.
