My son Johnny and I were watching her show on Wednesday night when Sam Bee dropped the C-bomb on Ivanka Trump. We both gasped. Not used to hearing that one on TBS. I immediately suspected she was going to have to back off and apologize, especially because of the Roseanne kerfuffle earlier in the week.

Sure enough...

I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.
