One of the biggest awards you can win in radio advertising is the Mercury Award. The finalists for this year were announced yesterday and quite a few of them are from Chicago agencies. If you're interested, all of the finalists are posted here. You can even listen to the spots.
Just for the record, the Cars for Kids spot one is NOT one of the winners. It's takes all of my restraint not to punch the radio when that one comes on.
