I Wanna Be Your Man

From Bob Dearborn's The Olde Disc Jockey's Almanac, this little tidbit from 50 years ago today...

October 7, 1963…At De Lane Lea Studios in London, the Rolling Stones recorded the Lennon-McCartney composition "I Wanna Be Your Man."



For the record, the version by the Stones is way better than the version by the Beatles, sung by Ringo.
