The Boston Globe is leading the charge. In an effort to fight back against President Trump's calling the press the "enemy of the people" and "fake news", newspapers all across the country (more than 100 already) are organizing a push-back against the president. On August 16th, they will ALL publish op-eds critical of this dangerous stance by the president.
I know it sounds wimpy and ineffective when you are dealing with the "I know you are but what am I" president, but a show of newspaper force will at least let the public know that the press is everywhere--including in your community--and we are not the enemy.
