This was a trend already last summer when I was in Europe. In Amsterdam, for instance, they have installed urinals in the middle of public places. These are urinals with no stalls...out in the open...sometimes in a tourist destination.
I remember thinking..."Who would use one of those?" (And I really had to pee at the time, too)
The same is now happening in Paris. Click on this link to read the Guardian article about it. There's a picture along the Seine River that shows you just how ridiculous this looks. The French people (that's right, the FRENCH people) think it's a little too immodest.
