On this day in 1983, the film “A Christmas Story” was released. It was only a moderate success at the box office at the time, but has become a Christmas classic over the years.
Eckhartz Press publishers Rick Kaempfer and David Stern interviewed one of the stars of that film recently. Zach Ward played the character Scut Farkus, the scary bully from little Ralphy’s neighborhood. Ward talks about how this little film became an enduring classic, and shows why he was perfectly cast in this role.
