American Idol Panic
The Hollywood Reporter has a story today claiming that panic is setting in with the producers of American Idol. The ratings are in a freefall, so they allegedly wanted to get rid of one of their judges, Mariah Carey, so they could replace her with Jennifer Lopez.
Mariah responded by threatening a lawsuit.
I have a tip for the producers. Instead of filming these singer-wanna-be almost-talented contestants, just roll tape backstage. That's where your potential ratings can be found. Subtle title change to "American Diva" and bam, you're good to go.
