RIP John Pinette

I met him a few times during my radio career. He was a gifted comedian, and a heck of a nice guy in person. At one point I was part of a writing team that worked on a TV pilot script for him. (It never went anywhere)

Sad to hear about his passing at the way too young of 50. Pinette was overweight for many years, although he had slimmed down considerably in the past five or six years. I thought he was getting healthier, and was very surprised by this news.
