When you read the details of our Just One Bad Century contest, you’ll probably think we’re crazy to make winning money this easy. Guilty as charged, your honor.
Go to our contest page here, and then just wait for the money to flow. How much money? See if you can wrap your head around a number this big: Nineteen hundred and eight dollars. Cash.
All you have to do is predict two very simple things: the exact date and the winning pitcher’s name of the next World Series clinching Chicago Cubs victory.
First come, first serve. There will only be one winner. For instance, Greg Maddux III is already taken. So is the after-the-nuclear-apocalyspe-star 12-finger Mordecai Brown. Also, please be specific about the dates. We will not accept: “Cold Day in Hell” as a generic entry. You still need to tell us the month, date, and year it will be a cold day in Hell, because once it gets cold there, it will probably remain cold. Be specific.
We’ll occasionally post some of the entries to help you.
Good luck, and may the best person win.
