When your team has been around as long as the Cubs have (142 years), there are bound to be stories about where they were and what they were doing when important events in history occured. We decided to find out. Every week we'll post the historical events from that particular week in history and find out what the Cubs were up to...at least one event from every day. Today, it's the anniversary of President Wilson asking Congress to declare war on Germany.
