Well written and convincing. Every time I've given up carbs, I've lost weight. Every time. Sometimes as much as 20 or 25 pounds. (And I only weigh about 170)
Sadly, beer is basically liquid carbs, so my excursions to low-carb land are infrequent and usually during Lent. A good old-fashioned smiting seems to be the only power strong enough to keep me in line.
