Your Homework is...The Living Wills
This just sounds so preposterous to me, but it's absolutely true. My co-author Brendan Sullivan writes on his Facebook page today...
"This Spring, Marist High School's "Chicago Literature" class is reading "The Jungle," "The House on Mango Street," "A Raisin in the Sun" and "The Living Wills," by yours truly and Rick Kaempfer. Not bad company. I'm ecstatic and humbled."
The whole time we were writing it, Brendan and I were trying to figure out what genre it was. We both said, "well, it's not exactly literature."
I guess we were wrong!
