Get the Vaccine
If you're anything like me, you are starting to get very ticked off at the unvaccinated among us. If so, please read this article. It will make you feel better. At least it will make you feel like you aren't alone. If you can't handle bad language don't read it. The title gives you an idea of the word that is most often used in the piece: Oh My Fucking God, Get the Fucking Vaccine Already, You Fucking Fucks.

Rick on WGN
Had a lot of fun on WGN with @Landeckerjohn last night, discussing the worst Cubs teams of all-time. It's here if you'd like to listen to it. https://t.co/zBa42CqRZN

Reporter is Accosted
Things got very hairy for NBC News reporter Shaquille Brewster during a live Hurricane Ida report from Gulfport, MS.

Some guy jumps out of a pickup truck and angrily confronts Brewster's crew, prompting a shaken Craig Melvin to express extreme concern for his colleague. pic.twitter.com/v1tYnUsqTj

Paul Banks at Fados
I joined Paul Banks yesterday at Fado's. He was there selling his Eckhartz Press book "Transatlantic Passage" while the Manchester United game was on. Fado's is the site of the Man United Fan Club in Chicago, and they were loud and enthusiastic, despite Man U's pathetic performance. Thanks to everyone who came out and bought Paul's book.
KiKi
Born on this day in 1898, KiKi (prounced with long i sound) Cuyler was part of Cubs '29 and '32 pennant winning teams. A HOFer, but his teammates thought he was a bit of a fancy lad because he put suntan powder on his face. Lifetime .325 hitter for Cubs #everyCubever #hesinthere pic.twitter.com/w78n37m5Y4
