GOODBYE DOMINICK’S: Safeway Inc., the parent company of Dominick’s, announced today that it will leave the Chicago market by next year. The chain of 72 stores in the Chicago area said the move comes after losing $13.7 million in the third quarter of 2013 and $35.2 million in the first 36 weeks of the year.
