Non-viewers will mock this story, but I'm here to tell you that it's true. At least for me. I learned all about the ridiculousness of campaign finance reality by watching Colbert. He started up a Super PAC and had an attorney on the show to explain what was and wasn't legal to do as a Super PAC, and his answers were simply jaw-dropping.
