Sausage Fest

Finally, the people who put together the Oxford dictionary have added a phrase we've been using for years. Behold: Sausage fest.

sausage fest
NOUN
informal

An event or group in which the majority of participants are male.

‘the show was a total sausage fest’

Origin
Early 20th century (in the sense ‘event at which sausages are served’): from sausage + fest, with allusion to the supposedly phallic shape of a sausage.
