#metoo

The hashtag #metoo has been exploding all over Twitter as women recount their experiences of being sexually harrassed or attacked. I had no idea it was this widespread, but I certainly wasn't naive enough to think it didn't happen. In fact, although I've never done it myself, I have witnessed it, and I didn't say anything. I know it was a different era, and the people doing the harrassing controlled my future, but I still feel terrible about staying mum.
