On this day in 2017, Pat Colander's book "Hugh Hefner's First Funeral" was named Book of the Year by the Chicago Writers Association. Pat's award winning book
is still available at Eckhartz Press and features an amazing cover photo shot by famed Chicago photographer Barry Butler. We're blessed at Eckhartz Press to have such a talented stable of authors. This weekend we'll pick up even more hardware for Lee Kingsmill's book "Safe Inside". Looking over the 17+ books we have coming out this year, there's a good chance that streak will continue.
