Kathie Lee went around to the staff of the Today Show and had them sign a letter of support for Lauer. Her plan was going to take out a full page ad in the New York Time publishing the letter. Lauer asked her not to do it.

It's nice that Kathie Lee supports Lauer, but I wouldn't presume that everyone who signed that letter does. What were they going to do--refuse to sign it?
