Dobie's Book Release Party

We had a great time at Zanie's last night with Eckhartz Press author and comedian Dobie Maxwell to celebrate the launch/release of "Monkey in the Middle". Dobie MCed the night, introduced several comedians who performed short sets, and Dobie was serenaded by the crowd with a rendition of "Happy Birthday" (it was also his birthday). Dobie then closed the show by telling the infamous bank robbery story.

The house was packed, we sold a bunch of books, and a good time was had by one and all. Thanks so much to Bert at Zanies for allowing this special night to take place there. The next stop on the Dobie publicity tour is an event at Shank Hall in Milwaukee next Monday night.
