Got sucked into a Dick Van Dyke show marathon this weekend and couldn't turn it off. The show is more than 50 years old, and it remains as hilarious as ever. I mean, seriously, has there ever been a better show? Got a chance to talk to Carl Reiner about the show one time and probably embarrassed him with my gushing. He said the secret to the show was that every episode was based on something that really happened to him or one of the writers. He called them "Reallys". Those "Reallys" were turned into the best television show in history.
