Ellen Signed Into Next Decade

When I read this headline ('The Ellen DeGeneres Show' Renewed Through 2020), I thought--"Geez, must be nice to get such a long contract." Doesn't 2020 sound like a million years from now?

It's actually only four years.

(Sigh)

My personal brush with Ellen story goes back to 1989. I think you'll get a kick out of it. I'm merely a bystander in this tale, but I think of it every time Ellen is in the news.
