Last month, Geraldo Rivera showed up to work one day at WABC in New York, and was told that he didn't have a job anymore. In radio, we call this "radio". Geraldo, who is more accustomed to television, calls this "a lawsuit". Bloomberg has the details. He's suing for $600,000 (his salary for the next year--he says they had a handshake agreement), but says "it's not about the money. It's about the disrespect." Knowing how our legal system works, I can tell you who will win this legal battle.
The lawyers.
