The New York Times website was down for two days after being attacked by the Syrian Electronic Army.
Even if you're one of those people who think the NY Times is a liberal rag (I've heard it), you should be concerned about an attack like this. The Washington Post has a very good piece today explaining all the implications of this attack. I strongly recommend it.
