Being Heckled Via Twitter During Stand Up Act
Dan Nainan is a comedian. Josh Rogin is a reporter for the Daily Beast. During Nainan's set in Washington, Rogin was making snarky tweets about Nainan's act, critquing his jokes.
Apparently Rogin is on Nainan's twitter feed, because after his act, Nainan went up to Rogin and said: "Are you Josh Rogin?"
When Rogin nodded, Nainan punched him in the face.
It's a little more direct than the kind of heckler-put downs comedians normally use (Kevin Matthews used to say: "Hey, listen, I'm going asshole hunting in the morning, and I could use a decoy"), but it's certainly effective. On the other hand, Nainan was arrested, so he may not try this technique again.
