Happiness is a Warm Gun

From Bob Dearborn's The Olde Disc Jockey's Almanac, this little tidbit from 45 years ago today...

September 23, 1968…At EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London, the Beatles recorded "Happiness Is A Warm Gun," originally called "Happiness Is A Warm Gun In Your Hand," the title inspired by the cover of a gun magazine that producer George Martin showed John Lennon. Jim Morrison of the Doors visited the Beatles in the studio and watched them record.
