September 23, 1968…At EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London, the Beatles recorded "Happiness Is A Warm Gun," originally called "Happiness Is A Warm Gun In Your Hand," the title inspired by the cover of a gun magazine that producer George Martin showed John Lennon. Jim Morrison of the Doors visited the Beatles in the studio and watched them record.
